South-American extreme metal influencers write a new chapter in the legend!
Tomorrow, Friday the 13th of March, is the day that the VULCANO legend will get a new chapter. «Eye In Hell», the new opus from the Brazilian speed/thrash/black metal influencers will finally be unleashed upon the crumbling world. And what a timing.
The Zhema Rodero and Ivan Pelliciotti produced record (recorded in O Beco Estúdios in Curitiba, Brazil) has 13 songs of the unholy Vulcano brand of extreme metal and is graced with cover artwork done by Roberto Toderico Art(Paganizer, Pestilence (official), Sodom, Tygers Of Pan Tang).
”Eye In Hell” is out tomorrow on CD, vinyl LP and digital. It can be ordered directly at www.targetshop.dk
Vulcano were one of Brazil’s first heavy metal bands of note. Coming into existence some time before (and having no small influence upon) that country’s most famous metal export, Sepultura, Vulcano’s albums were far too inaccessible to surface above the heavy metal underground with any regularity; and yet, alongside fellow Brazilians Sarcofago, Mutilator, and others, their primal, astoundingly violent blend of black and thrash metal has attained a worldwide cult legend among some of the genre’s most extreme practitioners – notably, Norway’s feared black metal inner circle of the early ’90s.
